I dropped Kirby off at the airport at 5:30am this morning. Right about now she should be walking around the streets of Bogotá. A nice two month trip. I plan to join her soon. I haven’t been out of the country in a bit. I had to get a new passport as mine was 9 years and 9 months old and falling apart.
Sailing in the Caribbean is something I've always wanted to do. The place has definitely got some interesting history. If all goes well we’ll avoid the FARC, not make any news headlines, and not end up starring in Locked Up Abroad.
